When a for-profit college instructed its 2,000 college students final week it should shut in a matter of days, it blamed the Training Division for its determination.
Virginia-based Stratford College provided programs in enterprise administration, culinary arts and nursing and was considered one of roughly two dozen colleges accredited to obtain federal cash by the Accrediting Council for Impartial Schools and Faculties. The Training Division, nonetheless, stripped ACICS of its energy to accredit universities in August as a result of it did not meet authorities requirements.
